With Falmouth's sweeping beaches and shops a short drive away and warm Waquoit Bay only steps down your own private beach path, this downhome cottage may be one of the Cape's best kept secrets. It's only a short drive to surf and sun at South Cape Beach, and both Old Silver and Wood Neck Beach are within 7 miles of home.
Spacious and roomy, you and your guests can stretch out in the sun-dappled living room, the screened-in porch and even in the updated, oversized kitchen. Waquoit Bay's mild waters and tidal flats make for a family-friendly location, and a private path beckons barefoot walks down to the water.
The traditional-style living room is classic New England. In it, find a 27” TV, huge wraparound windows with views of the bay and cozy seating for guests. There's plenty of room for more than one cook in the kitchen, which is decked out with granite counters and everything you need to prepare beach picnics, fancy meals, and midnight snacks. The breezy screened-in porch has another dining area and comfortable furniture. A series of Adirondack chairs in the yard overlooks shining Waquoit Bay.
