Sundowner's Retreat is an unbelievable BRAND NEW mountain cabin atop Richards Mountain, just 10 minutes to beautiful Downtown Blue Ridge. Custom built home with 100% salvaged Ponderosa Blue Pine - the walls, ceilings and floors are almost as spectacular as the views. A Sundowner is simply a happy hour enjoyed at sunset. You can enjoy a different view from 3 different decks, the lower level deck with a 6 person hot tub, the main level deck with swivel-glider Adirondack chairs and a glider love seat or our screened in party porch with comfortable furniture, party lights and a wood burning fireplace.
Inside, the main level has a spacious living room with a 50" 4K Smart TV, wood burning fireplace, dining room with an incredible 8 ft dining table and a large kitchen with all the equipment the cook in the family could ever need - all with amazing views out the wall of windows. A full bath and laundry along with a bedroom with a beautiful wrought iron queen bed and a custom hand crafted log bunk bed closes out the main level.
Upstairs, you will find the private master suite. A beautiful and comfortable tufted king bed awaits with a large walk-in closet, 43" 4K Smart TV and a master bathroom with a large shower with a bench and a double vanity crafted from live edge Ponderosa Pine.
The lower level is where the fun hides, a ping-pong table and full wet bar are sure to be the main hang out spot. Watch the game on our 43" 4K Smart TV and enjoy a fire in the gas fireplace... yes, there are THREE fireplaces! The sofa sleeper allows for more friends to join in the fun. Outside on the lower deck, the 6 person hot tub is perfect for those chilly nights stargazing or watching the incredible sunsets. The third bedroom is on this level and has a king bed, club chair and chest of drawers, if you're staying a while. A third full bath with a shower/tub combo wraps up the lower level.

Summary: The cabin was just as listed and perfect for our stay! We had a wonderful time in the hot tub, playing LOTS of ping pong, family game nights around the fire (inside AND outside in the screened in porch area), and eating as a family around the extra large dining table. Our favorite part of the Cabin was the uncovered upper deck which had THE most beautiful view! We ate dinner outside one night during the sunset and it was magical. We also loved sitting on the upper deck to look at the stars at night. Would 100% recommend to all!
