With almost 9 landscaped acres to explore, including a large outdoor deck with fire pit table and BBQ grill, a gorgeous and peaceful property for exploring complete with a walking/running path, The Guest House at Rancho Peridot is truly special. We also offer a crisp, professionally cleaned interior with 3 bedrooms with en suite baths, a washer/dryer in the unit, a fully-equipped kitchen with Nespresso and Keurig makers, a pool (unheated, salt water pool) and hot tub, a walking/running path, 9 acres to explore, and a safe, gated, resort-like home-base for your enjoyment.
The Guest House
The 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home provides you a bright, comfortable home-away-from-home, whether you are looking to unplug and enjoy nature, wine taste, Netflix and chill, explore San Diego, or attend a wedding or other event nearby our gorgeous almost 9 acre oasis.
The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed and view of the grass paddocks, with a small ensuite bathroom with bathtub/shower combo. The second bedroom has a queen bed and small ensuite bath with shower. The third bedroom is a spacious room with a king-sized bed and larger ensuite bath with shower with its own entrance (NOTE: it has its own entrance separate from the main house - you have to go outside to access the door to this room).
The home also has a large open kitchen with stainless appliances, a dining table, and patio with BBQ grill.
Dedicated high speed WiFi allows you to stay as connected as you like, and we also have a large smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. You can also log into your own accounts on Disney+, Apple Plus and Hulu. Our well-equipped kitchen provides all that you need to cook however much (or little) as you desire.
NOTE: If you want a stay longer than 7 days, just send us a booking request. We are happy to consider a longer stay! Please note that for longer stays, it is a requirement that we clean the house every 5 days, and there is a cleaning fee for each time we clean.
We also love hosting brides, bridal parties, and wedding parties. Our Guest House is a wonderful place for the bride or couple to stay, and for the bridal party to get ready before the big day! Enjoy a dreamy setting with a huge selection of breathtaking and Insta-worthy backdrops for photos.
At this time, we are not hosting weddings or large events due to the number of horses we have on the property. But definitely consider us for getting ready or photo shoots! There are fees for both, so please inquire.
If you are a horse person, we have stalls for your equine family members to stay here also! We have a covered arena with world-class footing, a huge outdoor arena, hot walker, and even trails nearby! Inquire about our fees for stabling, or even availability for clinics or equestrian-related events!

Nestled in the quiet and green Twin Oaks Valley, The Guest House at Rancho Peridot provides you a haven that feels secluded and far from the hustle and bustle of life, but is also close by many incredible locations, landmarks and activities - including wineries, golf, hiking, water sports, beaches, amusement parks, world-class dining and shopping, etc....
During your stay, you can meet the many furry and feathered friends who make Rancho Peridot home, from 7 horses, 2 dogs to our resident barn owls, hawks, weasels, rabbits, and occasional coyotes. You can find the horses grazing throughout the fenced pastures, the hawks soaring above, and coyotes that you may not see but will hear howling at night, and other sights and sounds of Mother Nature.
Twin Oaks Valley is rooted in agriculture, and we are surrounded by orchards and nurseries due to the ample ground water and perfect weather.
We are 42 miles north of San Diego International Airport and 52 miles south of John Wayne Airport.

You will receive check-in instructions for both the gate and the home prior to arrival. NOTE: Each Main guest must sign a rental agreement and each guest/visitor must sign a liability release before these instructions are provided. We are a working horse farm, and these documents are required to be read and signed by everyone who comes on the property. We cannot release gate and door codes until all documents have been signed and returned to us.

Our property is easily accessible from both I-15 and I-5 via 78. We have plenty of free parking on site, with 3 spaces available specifically for the Guest House.
For small parties and photo shoots, additional fees will be charged on a case-by-case basis. We have fabulous spaces for indoor and outdoor gatherings (small - no large events at this time), and fabulous vendors we can recommend, from catering, to hair/makeup, to photography, flowers and music. While the horses are mostly harmless (and ours are very sweet), we ask that you do not feed or pet them, as they are 1200 pound animals and they might accidentally step on you, bite you or bonk you in the head with their massive heads. Please do not enter a stall, paddock or pasture where a horse is present.
