Encore Cottage is a down-to-earth ski in/out, trail-first basecamp in Tamarack’s Golden Bar neighborhood--the kind of place where you can leave your boots by the door. Ski in from Lower Encore, click out, and you’re home. In summer, step onto miles of hiking and biking trails. Inside: full kitchen, gas fireplace, A/C, private hot tub, smart TVs, and beds for 7. Tamarack Resort is a four-season destination 90 miles north of Boise; it's the perfect basecamp for your west central Idaho adventures, located between the recreation opportunities in Cascade and McCall or those further afield. Nestled on 3,500 acres with 2,800 feet of vertical and adjacent to Lake Cascade, it offers year-round recreation, including some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Idaho, Nordic and snowshoe trails, hiking, downhill and cross country mountain biking, zipline tours, whitewater rafting, and motorized and non-motorized water sports. Tamarack also offers a host of on-site dining and leisure activities, to include a spa, pickleball courts, and disc golf course. Be sure to check their schedule for hosted events and activities.
You'll have the entire home to yourself, including a fully-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, private keyless entry, in-unit washer and dryer, covered deck, + private hot tub.
No garage access.
You'll also have access to the numerous amenities offered by Tamarack Resort; gas firepit at the Lodge at Osprey Meadows, pickleball courts, disc golf, and resort cross-country hiking/biking trails. This property doesn't have access to the Lodge fitness center, pool, or hot tub, but don't worry--the mountain is your gym, Lake Cascade is the perfect place to take a dip, and you've got your own private hot tub at the house!
