Step through the main door and down a short hallway, pass the spacious laundry area (all new laundry facilities) to the modern updated kitchen, windows throughout. This kitchen was designed with a chef in mind, ample counter space, double ovens, large kitchen island, and equipped for serious prepping and cooking. The home is thoughtfully updated, reflecting the mid-century aesthetic with a feel for contemporary comforts. The home is all on one level, and features one of the first butterfly roofs in North America.
The kitchen flows to the dining area and a sitting area, and opens to the lovely and spacious screened porch, which also leads to the outside deck for grilling, sunning, reading, surrounded by woods of Wellfleet.
Back inside down a hallway are the large bedrooms. Each bedroom has lots of light and is comfortably furnished, with updated, gorgeous bathrooms close by . At the end of the hallway is the primary bedroom, spacious, beautifully appointed, with its own bathroom and a water view. This is a truly luxurious home, with room for everyone and contemporary comforts everywhere. There is solar-powered, heat pump hot water heater.
The house can be seen as having three wings radiating from the central kitchen: 1) the living room, screened porch, two bedrooms and bathroom ; 2) the large "dormitory" wing comprising three bedrooms and two bathrooms (with adjoining tub room); 3) the laundry/utility room and garage. The layout allows for a significant amount of privacy and space for two , or even three families, as well as large gathering spaces in the kitchen, living room and screened porch.
Outside is a spacious outdoor shower, enclosed, and a thyme garden in progress and an herb garden to enhance your cooking. Walk up the footpath and then down the hill to the gorgeous bay beach, which is usually very private as there is very little public access.
