Our newly listed home is only 45 minutes from Grand Canyon, a straight shot up Highway 64 through beautiful pinyon-juniper forests and open range. This house comfortably sleeps six guests, and is outfitted to meet the practical needs of a traveling family: three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, washer and dryer, and a spacious kitchen. This is a home for a family that wants to stay happy and comfortable while exploring the Grand Canyon area.
Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a laundry area, and awesome kitchen make the house practical. But you'll also find a comfortable living room with a flat-screen TV, wireless Internet, and a cozy Arizona room stocked with games. Outside, you'll find a fire pit and views of the pine-covered volcanic landscape south of Grand Canyon.
We've tried to think of the small stuff to help you get the most out of your stay here. In the laundry room, there's detergent, fabric softener, an iron, and ironing board. Of course, in the kitchen you'll find coffee and tea.
The house is situated to provide some great views to accompany your morning coffee. From the front porch, you can catch a sunrise over the mountains to the east. In the late afternoon, the kitchen is filled with natural light.
There's a bit of road noise audible from the backyard, while the front yard is more quiet. Northern Arizona is renowned for its dark skies, and on clear moonless nights the stargazing can be excellent.
The entire house is available for your use, as are the front yard, back yard, porch, and patio. Utility sheds in the backyard are locked, but the house contains ample storage space.
The house is just a couple minutes off of Highway 64. Access to the house from the highway is via an unpaved road. Please drive safely and slowly through our neighborhood.
We have neighbors to the left and right of our house —please be courteous and respectful of their desire for peace and quiet. In addition to Grand Canyon, you may also wish to visit the town of Williams, which is only ten minutes away. There you'll find historic Route 66, dining, shopping, the Bearizona wildlife park, and other attractions.
