Our home is a great retreat for people looking to experience the fun of Galax, whether it's the annual Fiddler's Convention, concerts at the Rex Theater, or just a day exploring the shops and restaurants. It's also the perfect place to serve as a home base for outdoor adventures. The home is just a few miles away from multiple public boat launches on the New River, the New River Trail which is great for hiking and biking, and Matthews State Forest.
The house has all the charm of a mountain home built in the 1930s, with hardwood floors on the first floor and beautiful pine floors in the upstairs bedroom and cozy spaces for your whole group to gather. It also has the amenities expected for today's guests. The kitchen, laundry room and bathroom were all completely renovated in 2026, including all new appliances.
